Dr. Nyasha Scott, DDS
After completion of her doctoral studies at the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery, Doctor Scott received advanced education in general dentistry at UCLA. There she found that she especially enjoyed helping children develop healthy smiles. This led her to the University of Illinois at Chicago where she completed a two-year postdoctoral residency, earning her status as a specialist in pediatric dentistry. This advanced education has allowed her to stay current with the latest research and advances in pediatric dentistry. In practice for over 10 years, Dr. Scott is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, and Angel City Dental Society.
Most importantly, she takes the time to get to know each child personally. She communicates with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles.
Little House of Smiles is the fulfillment of Doctor Scott’s dream modeled after a policy developed by the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Her dream is to create a place where children can receive high-quality comprehensive and preventive dental care by age one.
Dr. Jorge Tello
Dr. Tello began studying Dental Surgery in 1996 at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. After making a short transition in 1997, he to continue his training at the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico until 1999. Later obtaining his California Dentist License in 2008, he has been heartily studying current and upcoming methods, which continue to advance the Pediatric Dentistry field, through education courses every year. During his early years in college, he felt a calling to Pediatric Dentistry, later finding it to be a thoroughly fascinating field and a key area to communicate with parents about their children’s well-being when it comes to their dental care. Dr. Tello feels nothing is more important than helping others at a young age learn simple dental care skills that will ultimately lead them to have a bright smile in the future.
Dr. Emily Hung, Orthodontist
Dr. Emily Hung attended the University of California San Diego, where she earned a BS in Biology. Dr. Emily went on to attend dental school at UCLA, where she earned her DDS degree. After dental school, she went to Saint Louis University to achieve her childhood dream of becoming an orthodontist. At Saint Louis, Dr. Emily received her orthodontic specialty certificate and her MS in Dentistry.
Orthodontics is more than just a profession, it’s a passion for Dr. Emily. She enjoys getting to know each patient during their treatment and also cherishes the opportunity to create beautiful smiles.
Dr. Emily grew up in the Inland Empire and now has a family of her own. When she’s not creating smiles in the office, she’s at home with her husband and two very energetic children playing Pokemon Go and trying not to step on Lego pieces.
Dr. Meena Adami
Dr. Meena Adami earned her doctor of philosophy in nano-medicine from the University of Arkansas at little Rock, she then moved to California and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University, California in 2018. She graduated with an honor in Pediatric Dentistry and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon ( OKU). She then completed her post-doctoral residency training in pediatric dentistry at Loma Linda University in June 2020.
Dr. Meena believes that a young patient’s first experience on the dentist’s chair shapes their opinion of dentists for a lifetime and pediatric dentists must ensure that this experience is a pleasant one. Her main philosophy in providing care is to spend sufficient time to know her patients and their families well. Dr. Meena is originally from Iraq, and she speaks fluent English, and Arabic.
Dr. Adami’s goal is to provide comprehensive dental care for children and make every single child feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Adami is board-eligible Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. In her time away from dentistry, She enjoys cooking, shopping, walking and spend some times with the family.
Dr. Kathryn Le, Anesthesiologist
Doctor Kathryn Le is a graduate of the Dental Anesthesiology Program at Loma Linda University, a two-year post-doctoral residency. Her extensive training at the Veterans Affairs Loma Linda Health Care System, Riverside County Regional Medical Center and Loma Linda Medical Center provided her with invaluable experience in cardiology, internal medicine, and medical anesthesiology.
Doctor Le is a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
